This project completely reimagined an underused outdoor area into a functional, modern extension of the home. The renovation included a full sunroom addition, structural framing, new windows, upgraded finishes, and a rooftop patio designed to maximize both living space and views of the surrounding wooded property.

From foundation work to the finished rooftop deck, every phase focused on blending indoor comfort with outdoor living. The result is a bright, open sunroom below paired with a sleek elevated patio above, creating two entirely new spaces for relaxing and entertaining.

The Transformation

The project began with extensive framing and structural work, including a newly poured slab foundation and reinforced support system for the rooftop deck above. Exposed framing showcased the scale of the addition before insulation, drywall, and finishing details brought the space to life.

Inside, oversized windows transformed the sunroom into a light-filled retreat overlooking the lush backyard and pool area. Dark wood-look tile flooring added warmth and contrast while maintaining durability for everyday living.

Outside, the rooftop patio introduced an entirely new entertaining area with elevated views of the surrounding tropical landscape. Clean architectural lines, modern trim details, and updated exterior finishes tied the addition seamlessly into the existing home while giving the entire property a more contemporary feel.

This renovation wasn’t just an expansion. It completely changed how the home functions and how the outdoor spaces are experienced.
