Custom Poolside Pergola & Outdoor Living Space

Every great outdoor space starts with a vision and a solid foundation.

For this project, the goal was to create a poolside structure that felt functional, inviting, and naturally connected to the backyard environment. What started as an open space beside the pool slowly transformed into a custom outdoor living area designed for relaxing evenings, entertaining guests, and making the most of Florida outdoor living.

The project began with structural framing and foundational deck work. Once the base structure was in place, the pergola framing started to take shape, bringing definition and dimension to the space. Throughout the build, careful attention was placed on durability, spacing, finish work, and overall flow with the existing pool area.

After construction was complete, the wood was stained in a rich natural finish that added warmth and contrast against the surrounding landscape and hardscape. Ambient string lighting was then installed to complete the atmosphere and create a comfortable nighttime setting around the pool.

One of our favorite parts of projects like this is seeing the transformation happen step by step. From raw framing lumber to a finished outdoor centerpiece, every phase plays a role in creating a space homeowners can genuinely enjoy for years to come.
